Hey Folks! It's been awhile! I have lots to write about and also want to show you some pics. I'll actually break up one BIG blog in to 3 little ones. That way if you get bored reading these (like THAT could happen) you can take a break.

My brother and I were planning to go see the Philly Orchestra perform the music from various Zelda games. We went last year and had a blast - especially seeing all the people dressed up. I'll post some pics from the concert below. I also challenge anyone who thinks they know more than Zelda games than my brother - it's amazing how much stuff he knows from that game...
Anyway, I had to get a run in before we left for Philly, so I decided to run first thing in the morning. I was feeling really sluggish that day, so I brought my phone with me to take some pics. Usually if I'm feeling pretty sluggish on a day I want to run, I'll bring it to break up my run. It helps me remember to take in my surroundings...and also show you guys what I see. I wanted to run 4 miles. I believe it was about 7am...
This is always one of my favorite shots - I especially love the mountains in the back. You probably have to click on the pic to get the full effect. So do that.
We used to have one of these willow trees in my back yard at the first place my family lived, outside of Leesport Gardens. It was just as big.
Morning running moon.
Howdy! (thats me.)
The run felt OK. Definitely better by the end. Maybe some of you guys feel better by the end of your runs?
OK so below are some pics from the concert. My brother, Kyle is my best friend and probably one of the funniest guys I know. We did go to a watering hole before the concert and after. After the concert we walked back to the hotel where we encountered numerous party goers from Drexel and U of Penn. We were passed by a trio of girls who looked like they've been at it for a while. There was a rather large girl leading the trio and puffing vigorously on her cigarette. When they passed us, the smoking leader says, "Hi Boys" - very seductive-like. When we got a few steps passed them, my brother and I both looked at each other, and without skipping a beat, Kyle said one of the best lines of the night. "Hey...If she smokes, she pokes." To this day, I'm still laughing at that line. I have no idea what it means, and I'm sure he does either, but it was perfect timing. Also as you read this, I'm sure we're both thinking the same thing - guess you had to be there....yeah, well.....you did. PICS!
These guys were the popular ones there. Everyone taking pics of them. It was seriously a huge nerd-fest, but I loved it. Had they let any bullies in there, it surely would have been a massacre.
This guy was my favorite - I love the hands in the pockets...
This kid got this shirt at wizard-con...whatever the hell that is....but cool shirt.
Yep.
Well, after writing this first installment of 3, and also hearing my son awake from his nap, I can see that the other 2 installments will have to wait a bit. I hope you all still enjoy reading these and feel free to comment and let me know how much you love/hate the posts. Warning, if you hate it, I don't care.
Thanks ya'll! Keep Runnin!
D
